A historic snowstorm (Jonas) is coming to DC today (Friday January 22, 2016 for those of you reading this in the future), bringing over 2 feet of snow (I predict 16 inches at DCA); the government’s closing at noon today (and I predict Monday too) and Metro will go dark at 11p tonight for entire weekend. Of course, this means drink specials for bars that stay open. I recommend you just head to your favorite neighborhood bar or stay home; if not, I’ve highlighted actual good deals at recommended bars ($1 off beer isn’t included). For more comprehensive posts (which I generally stole from anyways), check out the solid roundups at City Paper, Post, Eater, and Washingtonian.
