Hurricane Florence is about to wallop the Carolinas and has already impacted DC with mass cancellations (such as the eagerly anticipated H Street Festival, now rescheduled for a perfect time of October 13th) and a state of emergency announced for this weekend. It will almost certainly not be that bad here in DC, but expect flooding. With weather events, comes specials at DC bars. After checking with my Twitter followers, I’ve discovered that the overwhelming majority don’t feel this in poor taste, so here is a [shameless ploy for hits] post of all bars having some sort of specials, updated when I feel like it (this ain’t my day job, people).
