Home to George Washington University, Foggy Bottom has a relative dearth of bars for a college area. A few bars (like the infamous McFadden’s, ranked often as the douchiest bar in the city) do cater to the students who go to school there, but most are neighborhood spots or hotel bars that a non-student would feel comfortable at.
