Where to Watch the First Republican Debate Thursday Night

After living in DC for nearly a decade, I’ve begrudgingly accepted the fact that THIS TOWN enjoys getting together to watch political events at bars. The first Republican debate this Thursday is no exception. The following spots will be hosting watch parties and will be showing the Fox News debate with sound at 9p; many will have specials and drinking games will abound. You know want to tune in for Trump. New bars will be added from now till Thursday

  • Number Nine (Logan Circle)
  • Union Pub (Capitol Hill)
  • The 201 Bar (Capitol Hill)
  • Stetson’s (U Street)
  • Ventnor Sports Cafe (Adams Morgan)
  • The Black Squirrel (Adams Morgan)
  • Capella Hotel (Georgetown)
  • Looking Glass Lounge (Petworth/Park View)
    • includes Jon Stewart farewell watch
  • Lou’s City Bar (Columbia Heights)
  • Lola’s (Eastern Market)
  • Molly Malone’s (Eastern Market)
  • Capitol Lounge (Capitol Hill)
  • Vendetta (H Street)
  • The Big Board (H Street)
  • Public Bar (Dupont)
  • Meridian Pint (Columbia Heights)
  • Purple Patch (Mt Pleasant)
  • Mason Inn (Glover Park) – $5 bottomless Miller Lite from 9-11p
