DC Beer Week, a District-wide celebration of all things beer, kicks off Sunday, August 9th. To do our part, Barred in DC will be leading one of its patented (disclaimer: not patented) Metrobus bar crawls Saturday, August 15th from 4:30-10p. This time we will be taking one of more popular lines in town, the 42 Bus (which even has a great eponymous blog) to four of the best spots to drink beer (City Tap House, Sauf Haus Bier Hall, Glen’s Garden Market & Smoke and Barrel) in the Chinatown, Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan neighborhoods. Details (subject to change) are below; we’re working on specials, fun games, and featured beers in the meantime.

As always Free to join in. You’ll need around $5 on your SmartTrip card to take the bus (Pro tip: free transfers within 2 hours each time we disembark).
