Not surprisingly, DC goes pretty much all-out for the Fourth of July. Hopefully you’ll be joining me by also taking off Friday (or more) to make the 4th more enjoyable.
If you’re sticking in town this week, and if you don’t have access to a great rooftop at work or at home (or have a friend with one) there are plenty of events at bars, shown below, to choose from Thursday, either to see the fireworks or celebrate in general. Thursday Night (Fireworks View)
These roof decks will have (or claim to have) a view of the fireworks on the Mall. Fireworks usually start around 9:15p.
