The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is the country’s biggest single bar night. Known by some as Drunksgiving as well as other nicknames, it’s a night where all across the country, folks returning “home” meet up with buddies who’ve stuck around or have also come back. Due to the transient nature of #thistown, a lot of people go out of town for this night, but just as many come back since DC is a pretty convenient place to get to. In DC, bars can be open til 4a Wed-Sat night this week though expect most not to actually be open that late.
