DCist and other media outlets reported about the report released (via FOIA requests with DC) by DC Jobs With Justice (DCJWJ) and ​Restaurant Opportunities Center of DC (ROC-DC) last October about the widespread non-compliance with tip reporting to DC government as required by DC law (though as DCist reported, restaurants said this was because the payroll providers couldn’t report the information).

DCJWJ and ROC-DC didn’t release the information they did receive from DC, but I also filed a FOIA request with DC.
