The Most Underrated Bars in DC

Underrated is defined as “rated or valued too low” by our favorite dictionary turned social media maven site. When talking about bars, which are not actually rated or valued by any one definitive source, this term leads to all kinds of meanings from folks, such as more like “under the radar.”

After being asked by DC-focused podcast CityCast DC to come on their show to talk about DC’s most underrated bars, I put out a call via posts on Twitter and Instagram, to crowd-sourced list of the most underrated bars in DC below. The podcast is now live here (Spotify and other apps too)

  1. You all are missing a sweet down low spot. Recessions. They have pool tables where you can play with like $1.50 of quarters per game. If you hate Karoke then stay away. If you like chill and a fun down low spot with decent appetizers and good people . Come on down and have a good time.
